Proposals

Turn your meeting notes into a proposal your prospect can accept from their inbox. They type their name and tick a box, and the deal moves to Won. Add a deposit and they can pay in the same email.

Generate a proposal from notes

Proposals are made from a deal, so the proposal and the deal stay linked.

  1. Open the deal on the pipeline board (or from the contact's Deals card).
  2. In the Proposal section, paste your Meeting notes: what they need, scope, budget, timing, anything you agreed on.
  3. Under Start from, pick a template:
    • Project proposal: cover, challenge and solution, three pricing options, a timeline and an accept form.
    • Proposal with deposit: scope, milestones, an accept form and a deposit paid by card.
    • One-page quote: a short summary, one price and an accept form.
  4. Click Generate proposal. Drafting can take a minute.

The AI copilot writes the proposal from your notes, the deal (its title, value and stage), what's on the contact (name, company, role) and your brand voice. The deal's value becomes the total. With no value set, prices are left as placeholders for you to fill in.

The result is a draft email project, linked to the deal. Nothing is sent or published until you do it. Click Edit in studio to review and polish it like any other email. Generate a new version creates a fresh draft and links that one to the deal instead. The old draft stays in your projects.

Generating uses one AI copilot turn and needs a plan with the AI copilot (Starter and up). If drafting fails, you get the plain template and the turn isn't charged.

The accept section

Every proposal ends with an accept form with two required fields: a typed full name and an "I accept" checkbox. A submission counts as an acceptance only when the box is ticked and a name is typed. The copilot always keeps this section. If an edit removes or breaks it, it's put back above the footer.

You can also build a proposal by hand from the Proposal purpose in the studio. Its templates include the same accept section.

Send or publish it

From the deal's Proposal section:

  • Send to (the contact's address) emails the proposal to that one contact. Sending it to the deal's contact moves the deal to Proposal sent. Sending the same project to a whole list doesn't move it.
  • Publish as page puts it on the web at /lp/<slug> as a landing page, with a Copy link button. Share the link anywhere. Unpublish page takes it down and keeps the address reserved.

When they accept

When the deal's contact accepts, by email or on the published page, the deal moves by the pipeline's A proposal is accepted rule (to Won by default). The deal shows Accepted by with the typed name and date. Only the first acceptance is recorded.

The published page is public, so anyone with the link can accept it, and that moves the linked deal. If that happens by mistake, move the deal back on the board.

Taking a deposit

The Proposal with deposit template adds a product block after the accept section for a 50% deposit, paid by card through your connected Stripe account. Check the deposit amount in the studio before you send. A paid deposit is an in-email checkout, so the pipeline's checkout rule applies to it too.

From an AI assistant

AI connectors can publish and unpublish any email as a web page with publish_landing_page and unpublish_landing_page. As with sending, the assistant is told to show you the email and get your go-ahead first.
