Delete your MailInApp account
This page explains how to permanently delete your account in the MailInApp app (Android and iOS) and at mailinapp.com, operated by Digitload. Deleting your account removes it and its data from MailInApp. It cannot be undone. To delete only some of your data and keep your account, see Delete your MailInApp data.
How to request deletion
Option 1: In the MailInApp app
- Open the app and sign in.
- Open the menu and tap Settings.

What is kept, and for how long
- Crash reports (device model, OS version, app version, no name or email) stay in our error-monitoring service until they're deleted automatically, within 90 days.
- Security and audit logs (who did what and when, not the content itself) are kept for 12 months after they're created to protect the service against fraud and abuse, then deleted automatically.
- Abuse reports and copyright notices about your content, and messages you sent us through our contact form, are kept to handle safety, legal, and support matters.
- Records we must keep by law, such as invoices or order and payment records, are kept for the period that law requires.
- Data held by the businesses that emailed you. If you received emails from a business using MailInApp, your details in that business's contact list belong to them. Use the unsubscribe or "Correct or delete your data" link in their email, or ask them directly.
