Mystery box block
A gift box that opens on a tap to show a prize. It's the scratch-off's quicker cousin: one tap instead of a scratch, with the same prizes and odds.
How it works
Set a Title, the Prize text and an optional Prize link. The box is a wobbling 🎁 unless you set a Box image, and Tap text with its Tap text color go on the box.
- Where it can open (Mail on iOS, iCloud Mail, Thunderbird and Yahoo Mail), a tap opens the box on the prize.
- Everywhere else, the prize shows straight away, so nobody misses it.
Prizes and odds
Add Prize children to give each recipient their own prize, exactly as on the spin-to-win wheel. Each prize has a Prize name, Odds (relative: 2 wins twice as often as 1, 0 never wins), Prize text and an optional button. Its Prize code can be none, the next code from a list you upload, or a new code minted by your connected store.
MailInApp picks each recipient's prize on its server when the email is sent, records it once, and shows that same prize in the email, the web version and the app. With prizes added, apps that can't open the box show a Reveal my prize link to the web version, where the box opens.
Each reveal is recorded with the prize it showed.
