Menu block

A row of header links (shop sections, your blog, your account) that folds behind a ☰ Menu button on a phone, so a long row doesn't wrap into a jumble.

How it works

Add a Menu block, then one Menu link per link, each with its Text and Link URL. Every link is tracked as its own click and named in Insights › Engagement's link table.

  • Fold into a menu: On phones (the default) folds the row on narrow screens only; Always folds it everywhere.
  • Where folding runs (Mail on iOS, iCloud Mail, Thunderbird and Yahoo Mail), recipients see the ☰ Menu bar, and a tap opens the links stacked under it.
  • Everywhere else, the links stay in one row, which is the menu's fallback in every app.

Configurable fields:

  • Alignment and Between links (a line, a dot or a space).
  • Menu button text: left blank, it's the email language's word for "Menu".
  • Link color, Link font size and Menu button color, plus the block's Background, Padding, Border and Corner radius.

The preflight check warns about a link with no text or no URL. On the canvas, the phone preview shows the folded menu, and selecting one of its links opens it.
