Image hotspots block
Pin notes to a picture: the features of a product, the rooms of a floor plan, the stops on a map. Each pin opens its note on a tap.
How it works
Set the block's Image URL and Description, then add one Hotspot per pin. Each hotspot has a Title, a Description (the note) and a position: Across and Down, in percent from the picture's left and top edges. On the canvas, select a hotspot and click the picture to move its pin there.
- Where pins run (Mail on iOS, iCloud Mail, Thunderbird and Yahoo Mail), numbered pins sit on the picture, and a tap opens that pin's note next to it. Notes open away from the nearest edge, so they stay on the picture.
- Everywhere else, the picture shows without pins, with a numbered list of every hotspot's title and note underneath.
Configurable fields:
- Pin color and Pin number color.
- Note background and Note text color.
- The block's Background, Padding, Border and Corner radius.
The preflight check warns about a hotspot with an empty note. Opening a note isn't recorded.
